Welcome to the weekly collection of math teaching freebies here at Math Geek Mama! Every week I share the best, FREE math lessons, games and printables on the web! If you have a free teaching resource you would like me to share, just send me a link!
I love this adorable animal version of a Sudoku game! Not only does it help kids with logic and problem solving, it provides fine motor practice! My kids will love this! (And if you’d like another kid friendly version of Sudoku, try Kidoku!)
Once again, The Measured Mom has a cute, low prep printable math game! A fun and easy way to practice place value. (And if you’re looking for another fun way to practice place value, try these free puzzles!)
This free printable addition game from Life Over C’s is so cute! And if you print it and laminate it, you can use it over and over!
If you would like a fun, hands on approach to place value, try these free LEGO place value mats! Kids can use them to “build” each number and help increase number sense.
If you need some multiplication practice, try this cute 4-in-1-row multiplication game from The Curriculum Corner!
MissCalcul8 has an AMAZING set of daily math problems that would be especially helpful if you are a classroom teacher, but also a great resource if you are a homeschooler! She includes a powerpoint with 180 days of math problems (mental math, estimation, etc.).
Yummy Math has a great lesson about one of my favorite foods: ice cream! This is based on an original ad from Dairy Queen in 1938-a great way to get kids thinking!
I hope you found some useful math teaching resources here this week! Check back next week for more fun math teaching FREEBIES! 🙂
