I love this freebie from author-illustrator Loreen Leedy to use with her book, Seeing Symmetry! She is the author of lots of great children’s books (many of them math related) and I was excited to discover that she has a store on Teachers Pay Teachers! Check out the free section of her store, because she has several other symmetry-related freebies as well!

And if you’re interested, I’ve also created some multiplication pages to use with her book, 2×2=BOO!

All you need to build a pumpkin patch is some dice with this fun set of math games! You can use this to work on counting, addition or multiplication!

6th-12th Grade:

As usual, there are some great lessons this week at Yummy Math:

This lesson for Veterans Day is a great way for kids to analyze data and also reflect on the important work that our soldiers do for our country.

There’s also a lesson exploring the idea of “Home Field Advantage” in football. Is there really such a thing? If so, why? Such an engaging topic for kids, especially sports fans!

I hope you found some fun and useful math teaching materials! See all the past round-ups here, and if you’re looking for more, subscribe to my weekly e-mail newsletter! I share fun lessons, games and freebies just for subscribers!

Happy Teaching!
